Matt Glass

Matt Glass is an Emmy-winning filmmaker, musician and producer from Los Angeles.

His training as a drummer/percussionist, history of computer programming and Masters degree in Visual Art gives him a unique perspective as a composer.

Matt started his creative journey as the drummer and producer of the cult indie band The Brobecks and several other bands over the years including drumming on iDKHOW’s recent album. His work with these bands have garnered placements on a multitude of feature films and television programs for CBS, FOX, NBC, MTV, FX, Lifetime and more.

Beyond the upcoming feature film Grind (2026), Matt's recent film score work includes the Frogman films, Where Darkness Dwells (2025) and Ghosts of the Ozarks (2022) a film he also co-directed. His operatic and percussive score for Brea Grant's 12 Hour Shift (2020) was released on Burning Witches Records. His scores for documentaries include You Cannot Kill David Arquette, Fallujah: Art, Healing and PTSD and No Trespassing.

He composed music for the PBS series Lost LA for which he also won an Emmy for his directing work. For Paramount Pictures, he composed music for several marketing campaigns for films like Baywatch, 10 Cloverfield Lane and Arrival.

He also scored a variety of short films, including Kate Siegel’s Dimples(2024), Alanah Pearce’s Miss Crow(2024), Karen Gillan’s The Hoarding (2020), Rose McIver’s Nice Ride (2020) and Mali Elfman’s Loop.
